I have heard so many wonderful things about the beauty of Hindu weddings and when I was asked by New York photographer Jashim Jalal to second shoot a large Hindu wedding in Phoenix, I was ecstatic to be a part of it! This gorgeous, 14 hour wedding was located at the beautiful Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale and every detail was perfectly planned.
Sonika and Noah had a blended western/Hindu wedding with a modernized Baraat, traditional Hindu ceremony and large dance reception. Even though Noah was feeling a bit under the weather, he was so happy throughout the day that a smile never left his face. I have never been to a louder, more exciting and joyful wedding than this one and I hope to have the opportunity to work at more Hindu weddings in the future!
