When Ilya connected with me on Instagram and told me all about his and Alex’s plans to have a destination elopement at Bandelier National Park in Santa Fe, the same place they visited the day Ilya proposed, I was ecstatic. Their unique and fun destination elopement was truly an adventure from start to finish! They rented an incredible large home in Santa Fe and David and I stayed in their guest house, close enough to take part in all of the magic! On the day of the ceremony, these two got ready at the house and had a sweet first look in the house’s atrium. After that, we drove out to Bandelier and hiked a mile into the ceremony site, racing the sunset. Once we arrived, we had to climb 500 feet of ladders to reach the alcove that these two picked out and it was worth every second! It was a stunning, intimate ceremony nestled in the cliffside with their closest family members watching. It could not have been more beautiful! Enjoy!
