The majority of my engagement sessions with couples are in the scenic vistas of Mount Lemmon or the sprawling deserts in Saguaro National Park but lately, I've been having a huge influx of couples wanting to do something a little bit different. While I've grown a lot more accustomed to shooting the great, wide outdoors, I've absolutely loved the challenge of shooting downtown lately and capturing couples among Tucson's quirky, fun buildings!
Emily and Kai have the COOLEST wedding planned for this May, complete with a reception at one of my favorite concert venues in town. So, I'm so glad I could capture some funky, urban portraits for them downtown to bring out that character for their wedding day. For their session, we started in the Presidio neighborhood, and ventured into downtown, where we took photos along Tucson's iconic Club Congress and in front of the Rialto Theatre. We finished the session at one of their favorite bars, Barrio Brewery, to get some fun photos of them having fun with a beer!
